The creator economy is as big of a joke as calling it the basketball economy: as if any person can beat the power law economics and make a living as a professional NBA player, we now have get-rich-quick preachers telling everyone that they can beat the power laws of content consumption.

Content is essentially approaching zero value. We are drowning in it. We've created an attention economy as a result. Pumping more content into that gargantuan infinite scroll blob won't make a dent for 99%+ of the people to buy a weekly candy bar.

There's more economy now in filtering out than generating more.
